Travelling on the Great North Road, you will stop at Struie Hill to take in spectacular views over the Dornoch Firth before continuing on to the beautiful wilds of Sutherland and romantic Dunrobin Castle. Set in stunning formal gardens, Dunrobin Castle is the seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland and looks like a fabulous French chateau with parts of the magnificent house dating back to the 1300s.
